Scanning Labels

Scanning allows all the information found on the label including sterilized instruments to be entered into the patient chart.   Use either use the USB cable or wireless attachments of the scanner with the appropriate patient chart  entry field.   As long as  as the field accepts text characters the label information will be transferred .   The label information includes the Date, CycleID, PouchID, Operator and Instrument list.  This information is transferred as text into your digital patient chart.   If you are using a paper chart the label can still be printed and placed onto the chart as well.
