Backup
SteriCentre software uses a version of Sqlite as a database backend. All databases are subject to eventual failure including hardware malfunctions like disk failures, power outages, or memory issues, software bugs, human errors like accidental data deletion or incorrect configuration, corrupted data, network errors, system crashes, and environmental factors like natural disasters or physical damage to the server.
Therefore it is a responsibility to be prepared through proper backup regimes. Some suggested methodologies are :
iCloud
iPadOS operating systems come with built in backup to iCloud. To back up your iPad to iCloud, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup, then ensure "Back Up This iPad" is turned on; to manually initiate a backup, tap "Back Up Now" while connected to Wi-Fi and power.
Key points about iCloud backups on iPad:

Automatic backups:
When iCloud Backup is enabled, your iPad will automatically back up daily when connected to Wi-Fi, plugged in, and locked.

Manual backup:
You can manually start a backup anytime by going to the iCloud Backup settings and tapping "Back Up Now".

Storage considerations:
Make sure you have enough iCloud storage space to accommodate your iPad's data.

Check backup status:
Under "iCloud Backup", you can see the date and time of your last successful backup.

Sterilization Logging Backup
SteriCentre subscriptions allow the ability to print reports. There are reports between any dates of Cycles and/or Pouches including operators and instruments. The reports can printed or be sent as PDF files via email to any location. A plan can be implemented to save these reports on weekly, monthly ,etc. basis.
If the Audit functionality is used Audit reports can be prepared between dates as well.
